Our first love is sailing and probably always will be. We offer a range of courses, weekend charters, delivery charters, sailing experiences as well as corporate entertainment days , race experiences and team building training with a difference...!
Whilst we would encourage anyone to take up sailing, it's a personal decision that only you can make. In order to help you think things through, here are some things to consider :-
Do you enjoy being outside?
This is pretty obvious, but you do need to honestly assess how much you enjoy being out in the elements.
Are you up for a challenge?
You can learn the fundamentals of sailing in one long day or a weekend. After that, you can spend the rest of your life learning to sail well. As a pastime, sailing will consistently challenge you like no other.
What about money?
This really isn't an issue, at least not yet. Sailing lessons can be had relatively inexpensively, or even for free if you have friends who sail.
With ~ OnWaterTraining.co.uk ~ you don't need to rush out and buy a 40 foot yacht and join a yacht club right away. We seek to provide an affordable fun experience whether you are with us for a week in the Med or a day in a marina... (and yachts aren't cheap either...!)
With work and family commitments, most of our sailors and powerboaters enjoy coming with us because for them, joining us means getting on the water comparatively cheaply, easily, simply and without the worry of managing (and paying for) your own watercraft for twelve months of the year and using it for only three months.
We also offer the following non-RYA courses for anyone new to yachting and primarily, the new yacht / watercraft owner although all sailors of any experience level are welcome to join our courses. We have found them to be helpful, informative and educational covering aspects of sailing and of course they can be tailored to your own personal needs and learning.
