ARE YOU AN NHS EMPLOYEE, A CEROC DANCER OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS ???
If you have never sailed before or if you have sailed and want to get out on the water again then as an employee of the NHS or as a CEROC dancer, we can offer a very special opportunity…!
We are now offering a full weekends sailing from October 2013 to the end of March 2014 at a significant discount and extend this offer to family and friends, children and adults, as long as you accompany them.
The usual price of the course / weekend sailing, including all the above is £215 per person.
As an NHS employee or Ceroc dancer we are able to offer a significant discount and are now taking bookings
for just £175 per person.
A typical weekend itinerary includes boarding the fully equipped, RYA inspected, Maritime and Coastguard Agency coded yacht on Friday evening in Gosport, two full days sailing on Saturday and Sunday including an overnight stop at a Solent port or harbour. We also include in the price all berthing fees, fuel costs, meals on board (breakfast, lunch, snacks and all drinks – evening meals are taken onshore), hire of waterproofs and a fully qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructor as Skipper.
We are also able to offer as part of the weekend, the Royal Yachting Association Start Yachting Certificate which is nationally recognised and can be counted towards the full RYA Competent Crew training course. We limit the numbers to a maximum of 5 for RYA courses or 6 people for a sailing weekend without RYA certification. That way everyone gets involved in sailing the yacht as much or as little as they wish.
This offer is available every weekend (Friday 7.00pm to Sunday 5.00pm). Prices for the Christmas and New Year period are available on request and are not included in this offer. Bookings must be made by a current employee of the NHS or Ceroc Dancer and any group bookings require a minimum of one NHS employee or Ceroc dancer to participate on the yacht however after this, anyone is welcomed. This offer relates only to the weekends as described above.
Children and young adults aged under eighteen are welcomed but must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times. RYA certification as described above can be awarded to any age upon successful completion of the weekend training course.
STUDENT NUMBERS
RYA courses need at least 3 students to make it a useful learning exercise. Therefore if you are ultimately the only person booked on a course it will be impossible for it to proceed. If a place is not available for whatever reason, you will be given the option to defer to a later date, attend an alternative course/event on the same date if we have one, or get a full refund.
We are also able to take provisional bookings and deliver the weekend once we have the minimum number of people required.
We do however require a minimum of 3 people to run each weekend so we are happy to accept individual bookings providing that we can muster a minimum of 3 crew plus Skipper / Instructor.
