The Rolex Fastnet Campaign 2009 was a complete success and we are now planning for 2011 - yes - this early...!

The Rolex Fastnet Race 2011

~ OnWaterTraining.co.uk ~ continues to enjoy a wonderful partnership with Solent Sail and will be entering the 2011 Fastnet.

Interest in this amazing event is always high and as such, Solent Sail have decided to to open bookings now for the 2011 campaign and being renowned for quality of yachts, Skippers and customer care, you know that this is just going to be great…!

The race commences just after Cowes week and lasts up to 6 or 7 days (more usually 4 or 5 days) and races over 600 miles from Cowes to the Fastnet rock just off the coast of southern Ireland and the back to Plymouth with a return cruise back to the Solent.

The completed qualifying plan for the 2009 campaign is below and despite calmer conditions early on in the season, the crew have really been put through their paces in a range of conditions earning a well deserved day off in Guernsey in sunshine and in the bar as well...!

As at the end of the Fastnet race, Inseyandra was FOURTH IN CLASS with two races to complete...!
