Sail, Motor or Road Deliveries

As part of our operations, ~ On Water Training.co.uk ~ will deliver your yacht with the maximum of care and attention to detail, ensuring a trouble free passage to and from any port in Europe.  We have experience of delivering yachts in both the UK and the Med. 

This includes commissions from some of the larger yacht charter companies including Vernicos, Nomicos and others as well as positioning yachts at the beginning or end of the sailing season for many private owners.

Each Skipper we use (usually Gordon) is a minimum RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Instructor with MCA commercial endorsement.  Mates or crew all have extensive experience and are handpicked by the Skipper to ensure that the delivery voyage is crewed appropriately.  All crew involved have a love of sailing first and foremost and as such, pay attention to detail to ensure total satisfaction and confidence in owners who entrust their watercraft to us.

We always liaise closely with our clients to make sure that we understand their needs and a routine part of any delivery is our Vessel Completion Report that records and logs every aspect of your vessel, be it a yacht or motor boat or even a road delivered rib..!

At the beginning of every delivery voyage we will prepare and check your vessel with you (whenever possible) for its passage.  Not only does this ensure a safe journey but also highlights any potential or issues the vessel may have prior to its journey to ensure the safety of the vessel and its crew.

Whilst on its delivery voyage the vessel is sailed well within its limits (whether under power or sail) and only equipment and facilities that are absolutely necessary for the journey are used - both precautions will ensure an absolute minimum of wear to the vessel. 

Our onboard mobile computer system allows regular email updates (and photographs if needed) to be sent daily or as requested by the owner and has proved a real way of ensuring peace of mind.

At the end of each passage we check every detail of the vessel, its parts and systems and it's equipment in order to provide an overall report on its condition.  The vessel is also valeted to a high standard when it arrives at its destination and our Vessel Completion Report is with you within 3 days of arrival.

So from initial contact from the owner through to safe arrival at the destination, peace of mind is ensured as a result of a professional and efficient service with your watercraft treated carefully and respectfully at all times.

Road Deliveries

~ On Water Training.co.uk ~ can also deliver your trailer sailer, RIB or personal watercraft at very competetive price throughout the UK and Eire and mainland Europe.  We have access to four wheel drive vehicles which are rigged for short or longer journeys. 

If your watercraft can be towed, we can deliver or position it for you...!

Assisted Deliveries/Passages

~ On Water Training.co.uk ~ also provides Skippers and crew for many assisted passages.

Sometimes it's just easier to have a helping hand on board or maybe a bit of extra experience for any watercraft owner undertaking a longer than usual passage.  Having a qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructor on board can offer peace of mind as well as support in developing your skills.
