Sailing can be one of the best ways to entertain. Slicing through the water with a gentle cooling breeze, a glass of champagne and excellent food plus some fun activities along the way guarantee a great time and what's more, you have a captive audience for a full day.
A range of yachts to accommodate from 3 or 4 people up to 10 or 12 can be chartered. Our in-boat audio visual equipment enables you to combine business with pleasure aboard a luxury sailing yacht if needed.
Combine your meeting or training with a full day, half day or evening sail to create an imaginative and unique business package and a very rewarding and challenging experience for your team, clients or guests with almost endless possibilities to present opportunities for skills development, team building and interaction. Even recruitment and selection can be done on board.
Sample Itinerary
8.30am
Meet at the Marina and meet your Skipper. Breakfast of choice can be provided for all guests on request, catering for kosher, halal, vegetarians or vegans etc as needed. After the safety briefing and days activities briefing, we set off into the Solent for a familiarisation sail and head for our lunch destination.
Each person on board can take control of the yacht and be involved in trimming sails, navigation, helming and even flying the spinnaker if the conditions are right.
Along the way, whatever your event, we can organise activities that can entertain or challenge the crew, treasure hunts, problem solving or sightseeing - the choice is yours.
12.30pm
We stop for lunch, again provided to your requirements, either at anchor in a sheltered bay or even alongside a converted lightship that can cater for us including a fully licensed bar if needed. We could head for a Solent Port or village or even travel as far as Cowes, the home of UK sailing, for each person to organise their own lunch at a pub or restaurant.
1.30pm
After lunch it's back out onto the water for afternoon actvities of your choice dependant upon your goals for the day. This could be a fun yacht race, treasure hunt, on water orienteering, a training session or just sightseeing at Beaulieau or the River Hamble or any other number of locations within the Solent.
5.00pm
We return back to the Marina where the crew departs having enjoyed a unique experience away from their usual place of work and having had their minds and bodies challenged as much or as little as you designed.
Alternatively, two day or weekend events can also be easily organised with greater distances covered at your choice and greater opportunity to deliver and achieve your goals for the event. In such cases, overnight accommodation is usually arranged on board your yacht but can, if you wish, be pre-arranged at a local hotel.
Catering on board can be provided to your choice with evening meals taken ashore at a range of excellent restaurants which can be pre-booked as required. Contact Us for more information.
An alternative is to charter two or more yachts and have a fun yacht race competition with prize giving ceremonies arranged ashore in the evening. Again, any number of yachts can be chartered and cups, medals and trophies as well as other prizes or awards can be pre-arranged to your choice. We can even arrange crew shirts for any number of yachts and their crews if needed, with your company logo if desired.
If it's pure entertainment you're after then why not consider our all day or evening activities that are as relaxing or competitive as you like and can provide a great way to launch a product or just say thank you to your most valuable customers. Larger groups can always be accommodated by arrangement.
